Living like a local, or otherwise known as a “Seattleite,” means spending time at alternative and independent music concerts, which are typically attended by over 100,000 people annually. Several dozen Seattle neighborhoods have annual street fairs, and many have an annual parade or foot race. The street fairs, featuring hundreds of craft and food booths and multiple stages with live entertainment. Or for a fair on a smaller scale, you can visit some of the more prominent neighborhoods which have weekly Farmers Markets.
